Two new child care centres in planning stage
A consent for a proposed childcare centre at 19 Pitt Street, awarded to Establish Ltd, will cater for another 105 children under the age of 5, as well as up to 15 full time staff members.
The children will be split into five groups, comprising 20 children under 2, 20 children between 2 and 3, as well as 20 each in the 3 to 4 and 4 to 5-year ranges. Another 25 children of mixed ages will be in a playgroup operation.
The facility will be located on an undeveloped lot close to the Bayleys Real Estate building at the end of Reads Quay. It will be close to the Oneroa walkway.
