About Us

We help our clients create the best early learning centres in New Zealand.

With so many specialists involved, choices to make, and council and Ministry of Education hoops to jump through, creating an early learning centre is no easy task. At Establish, we come to work every day because we want to solve the biggest problem with developing early learning centres in New Zealand - the development process is so complex.

Until now, there hasn’t been a team that could remove all the complexities and get early learning centre developments off to the best possible start. As New Zealand's only full solution consultants in this specialised area, we’re here to change that. We make the complex simple and reduce financial risk. Through centralised, specialist expertise, our clients get off to the best start and gain the freedom to focus on their wider business and vision.

With our team having new centres and additionals and alterations to existing centres being approved and constructed weekly around the country, we’re passionate about improving the quality of the educational environment for all children.

LOGAN WHITELAW

Director

Logan comes from a Planning background, having a Bachelors and Masters of Planning Degree, and over a decades experience as a Planner in both the private and local government sectors. During this time Logan worked on both sides of the equation, driving new private development and assessing complex consent applications on behalf of council – always remaining focussed on making things happen.

Described as insightful, driven, pragmatic and articulate by those that know him well, Logan is passionate about the Early Learning sector and providing world leading environments for all children. Logan has a particular interest in using data and new technology to create increased value and transparency for the sector.

PAUL RODGERS

Managing Director

Paul founded Establish along with fellow Director, Logan Whitelaw, having earlier worked with Logan in a planning consultancy. He has 10 years’ experience as a Planner and Project Manager, working across the country. Paul shares Logan’s desire to raise the quality of early learning environments across New Zealand and enjoys seeing clients’ projects brought to fruition.

Paul has a developed an extensive network of contacts in the development, construction and early learning space.

GARETH PASFIELD

Project Manager

Gareth is an experienced Project Manager, having worked for more than 10 years in the fields of project management, resource management and town planning. In that time Gareth has worked for both public and private sector organisations in New Zealand as well as construction projects in the United Kingdom.

Gareth brings his experience and network of contacts to bear in managing and coordinating the delivery of projects for clients.

Young World Childcare Centre
